What is YourSend?
YourSend is a multi-channel transactional messaging platform. Send emails, SMS, voice calls, and WhatsApp messages through a single unified API.
What channels are supported?
Email (via AWS SES), SMS, Voice, WhatsApp, and AI Smart Routing which automatically picks the best channel.
Is there a free tier?
Yes! The Starter plan includes a generous free allowance to get started. See pricing at yoursend.dev.

Why are my emails going to spam?
Make sure you have verified your sending domain with DKIM, SPF, and DMARC records. Check Dashboard → Domains for verification status.
Why are merge tags showing as raw {{tag_name}} in emails?
Merge tags are replaced with values from the tags/data object you pass when sending. Make sure you include all referenced tags. For blast campaigns, standard tags like {{name}}, {{email}}, {{business_name}} are auto-populated from contact data.
What is AI Smart Routing?
When you set channel to "auto", YourSend's AI analyzes recipient engagement history to pick the channel most likely to get a response (email, SMS, or voice).
How do OTP codes work?
Set otp: true in the send request. YourSend generates a 6-digit code, delivers it, and you verify it later using the /v1/check endpoint. Codes expire after 5 minutes by default.
What format should phone numbers be in?
Use E.164 format: a + followed by country code and number. For example: +14155551234 (US), +447911123456 (UK).

How does pricing work?
YourSend uses usage-based pricing. You pay per message sent, with rates varying by channel. Email is the most affordable, followed by SMS and voice.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, you can change your plan at any time from Dashboard → Settings → Billing. Changes take effect immediately.
